Dear Parents, Children and Well-wishers,

It is with immense pride and joy that I welcome you to the world of Endeavour Global School – a Temple of Learning, Growth and Opportunities.

This institution is the dream child of our Founder, Maj P S Gurung and our Chairman, Maj. Gen Kr V S Lalotra AVSM, YSM, SM (Retd) Their dream was to impart a world class education in Siliguri for children from the surrounding areas of North Bengal, Bihar, Sikkim, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal etc. From this dream arose the desire to create not just a school but a haven where the children feel safe, cherished and are taught to excel and achieve their personal best, not the personal best of anybody else i.e. No comparisons, no short term motivations. Our tag line is,’ A Happy Child is a Learning Child,’ and the motto we incorporated is ‘Beyond Horizons.’ Today that dream thrives in every classroom and in every smile of every child.

At the heart of our school, our values and our strengths shape character and nurture potential. We teach our children to accept diversity and value differences. The concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the world is one family, is instilled in the hearts and minds of every child. With boundaries breaking worldwide, it is important to visualize the horizons disappearing and new frontiers and vistas of opportunities appearing ahead.

Our small numbers and teacher child ratio of 1:20 is our USP and our biggest strength. We are committed to making our school area safe and supportive for all children entrusted in our care. There is zero tolerance for bullying and negativity in our world and the school respects and nurtures diversity and equality. When children enter our portals they have access to a holistic learning environment, a balanced curriculum and a host of opportunities to hone their skills and discover their forte. We call ourselves the EGS family and we welcome each child with love and care, ensuring that the doors of knowledge and learning is open for every curious mind.

I believe that every child is unique and has the intelligence and ability to excel. We only need to discover their spark to ignite the fire within. The parent is the first teacher of the child. Together the home and the school must walk hand in hand so that we can create the most conducive atmosphere for every child to grow Beyond Horizons.
