Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Endeavour Global School. The programme started at 10.00 am in the school sports complex with Col. D. K. Sarkar the Chief Guest hoisting the tricolour. The Headmistress Mrs Nima Yonzon welcomed the esteemed guests and parents. There was a medley of patriotic songs, yoga, dance, speeches in Hindi, Bengali and English commemorating the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. But the showstopper was the march past by the school students. The Chief Guest gave a speech inspiring the students to work for the country when they grow up. Vote of thanks was given by Director (School) Mrs. Nandita Gurung. The celebration came to a close with a feeling of pride and patriotism in everyone’s hearts.
