A workshop on POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences)Act,2012 was organised for the teachers of Endeavour Global School on 12th July 2025 in the school premises. The workshop was conducted by Nirnay John Chettri, of MARG (Mankind in Action for Rural Growth) Darjeeling, with the objective of sensitizing teachers about child safety, legal provisions and their role in protecting students. Through case studies, real -life examples and interactive discussions, teachers were made aware of early warning signs and strategies to build trust with students. It emphasized the need for setting up Child Protection Committees in schools. The workshop was very informative and empowering.
