Bhanu Jayanti – 2023
To commemorate the 209th birth anniversary of Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, Endeavour Global School celebrated Bhanu Jayanti with great enthusiasm. Adikavi Bhanubhakta’s contribution to Nepali literature was a huge milestone. The programme began with lighting a diya and a highlight on the celebration of Adi Kavi Bhanu Bhakta Acharya’s birth anniversary by Headmistress Mrs. Nima Lhamu Yonzone.
A brief introduction on the life and works of Bhanubhakta Acharya was also presented.
It was followed by three verses of Ramayana Patha by the students and teachers together. Music and songs filled the air. Children recited evergreen poems of Bhanubhakta. Sernya Gurung of class 1 enthralled the audience with her solo folk dance performance. Teachers and students, donned in traditional Nepali attires, added colour to the programme. The Director, Mrs. Nandita Gurung, stressed on the importance of respecting each other’s culture.
