Children’s Day

Endeavour Global School celebrated Children’s Day with gaiety and enjoyment galore. The little stars had a fun day in the Sports Complex playing games, dressed in their Sunday best whilst the senior superstars went for a riverside picnic. The teachers and the school staff had as much fun as the children as they frolicked in the water and ate to their hearts delight. What a wonderful gift of love and togetherness!

Rangoli Making Competition

Diwali celebration is incomplete without rangolis.To promote this traditional art form Multiopolis Group, Siliguri organised a Rangoli-making Competition on 4th November 2023 at ML Acropolis Mall, Siliguri. Around 10 schools in Siliguri participated. Under the able guidance of the Art teacher, Mrs. Deepa Halder, Endeavour Global School with a team of 8 students participated earnestly. They chose authentic rangoli theme. With vibrant colours and meticulous craftsmanship they skilfully brought the theme to life. Endeavour Global School team bagged the 2nd position in the authentic rangoli theme. Their innovative designs were applauded by all. This competition gave our children an excellent opportunity to explore and appreciate different forms of art and culture.

River Clean-up drive: Nalanda House

 In order to provide environmental education and awareness, Nalanda House of Endeavour Global School launched a river clean -up drive at Dudhia river on 25th November 2023, as a part of United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 6- “Clean Water and Sanitation”.

Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being.

The students collected garbage, plastic bottles, beer bottles, torn clothes, paper and glass fragments showing how the community can work together to minimise litter impacts.

Awareness in Environment : Twin Cafe

Endeavour Global School organised a panel discussion entitled “Nurturing Young Minds & the Environment” to raise awareness about the environment and how to implement changes at home, in school and in their daily lives.

The panelists were Ms. Sujata Guha, a micro biologist and an Ayurveda practitioner, Mr. Ishmael Tamang of Save Earth for Life and Ms. Shreya Gurung from TIEEDI. The session was moderated by Ms. Smriti Pradhan of Chhimeki. It was a wonderful experience for all and very enlightening.

Principals, Staff and children from Campion International School, Foothills Academy, Narayana School, Chahal- an inclusive preparatory school, Save Earth for Life, Chimeki and Endeavor Global School attended this event. Other distinguished guests were Dr. Sonam Wangyal, renowned historian; Ms. Anuradha Sharma, an Independent journalist; Mr. Abhay Pradhan of Chhimeki. The children learnt valuable lessons that they were told to share with their friends and peers.

A felicitation program was also organized for the Green Warriors- Save Earth for Life for their relentless effort in waste management and raising awareness on it among the people in Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Siliguri.
